Technical Lead - SQL
Technical Lead - SQL will be responsible for SQL development in SQL server. Will work with other Developers and Product Managers throughout the software development lifecycle, including unit testing. You will be guided in Agile frameworks and popular coding languages to fulfil our business needs. Role requires you to work as Senior Hands-on Individual Contributor and mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Communicate with the businessteams and clients for requirements.
• Guide junior team members in day-to-dayactivities.
• Design and develop technical solutions.
• Estimate, plan and schedule deliveries.
• Troubleshoot production issueswith minimal support.
• Manage deployments andreleases.
• Source code configuration andmanagement.
• Analyse and mitigate risks.
• Report accurate status to all stakeholders.
Requirements:
• The candidate should have completed B.E. / BTech / B.C.A. / M.E. / MTech/, M.C.A /M.C.M from a recognized institute. Experience: 8-12+ years Primary Skills: MS SQL server 2012-2019, SSIS, MS-SQL
• Secondary Skills: SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, (Oracle, Sybase, Postgres would be a plus but not mandatory).
• Primary skills of SQL Server 2016 and above.
• Ability to interpret requirements and write SQL scripts.
• Know all features of SQL Server2016 Stored Procedure, SQL Jobs, Functions and Triggers.
• Good understanding on database migration from different sources to MS SQL server.
• Good knowledge on DDL/DML/DCL queries, query tuning& performance optimization.
• Knowledge of SSIS is mandatory.
• Good interpersonal skills to interact with all level of people of the organization.
• Candidate should be willing to work in rotational shifts.
• Knowledge on Microsoft Azure Data factory is a plus.
