We are looking for an experienced Product Consultant to take end-to-end ownership of how our Health Plan Benefit Management System is shaped, delivered, and adopted — a critical platform that powers how health plans define, configure, and deliver benefit information across products and channels. This is a hybrid role that sits at the intersection of client advisory and internal product delivery. On the client side, you are the trusted advisor — shaping solutions, leading workshops, and steering implementation decisions for health plan customers. On the product side, you carry that field intelligence back into the roadmap, partnering with Product Management and Engineering to make sure the platform evolves in ways that scale across clients. You will operate with high autonomy, work across US and offshore time zones, and be expected to drive outcomes — not just facilitate them. You set the bar for clarity, accountability, and follow-through, and you raise it for everyone working alongside you.

What You Will Own:

• Client Advisory &Solutioning — Serve as the senior product voice forassigned health plan clients. Lead discovery, shape solutions, makeconfiguration and design recommendations, and own the consultative relationshipend to end. You are the person clients call when something is hard, ambiguous,or high-stakes.

• Implementation &Delivery Leadership — Drive implementationengagements from kickoff through go-live. Own scope, milestones, risks, andclient readiness. Coordinate across Product, Engineering, QA, Data, and ClientSuccess to bring engagements home on time and to standard.

• Product Feedback Loop — Translate patterns from client work into structured productinput. Partner with Product Management to shape roadmap priorities, validateproposed designs against real client realities, and prevent the platform fromdrifting into one-off customizations.

• Requirements &Configuration Ownership — Own the integrity ofrequirements and configuration decisions for your engagements. Review BRDs,schema changes, interface contracts, and mapping documents authored by BAs andengineers. Push back when something is vague, brittle, or off-pattern, and makethe call when trade-offs need to be made.

• Stakeholder Representation — Represent the product and the engagement in front of seniorclient stakeholders, internal leadership, and steering committees. Runexecutive updates, escalation conversations, and decision-forcing meetings withconfidence.

• Cross-Timezone Coordination — Anchor execution across US and offshore teams. Set the rhythm —standups, handoffs, decision logs, escalation paths — so that work moves aroundthe clock without losing fidelity.

• Mentorship & Standards — Coach Business Analysts and junior product team members on requirements quality, client communication, and delivery discipline. Set the standard for what “good” looks like on the team.

What We Are Looking For:

ConsultativeMindset

You think likean advisor, not an order-taker. You ask the second and third question, surfacethe trade-offs the client has not articulated yet, and you are comfortabletelling a client that what they asked for is not what they need.

TechnicalFluency

You are fluentin conversations about data models, APIs, schema design, and systemintegrations. You do not need to write production code, but you can read a JSONor XML payload, reason about schema impact, and recognize when something isbeing oversimplified or under-scoped.

Detail-Orientedbut Strategic

You can zoominto a broken data mapping or benefit configuration conflict, work it throughwith engineering, and then zoom back out to explain the implications for aclient's enrollment cycle, a release milestone, or the broader roadmap. Youhold both lenses simultaneously.

OwnershipBias

You treat yourengagements like you own them. You do not wait to be asked for status, you donot let issues sit, and you do not hand off problems without owning the path toresolution. You are measured by outcomes, not activity.

BuilderMentality

You haveoperated in an early-stage, fast-moving, or scaling environment where processesare still being built, priorities shift, and you are expected to figure thingsout — not just execute a playbook.

StrongCommunication & Influence

You can take atechnically complex topic and make it crisp for a client executive. You cantake an ambiguous business need and make it actionable for engineering. Youearn trust through preparation, precision, and follow-through — acrosscultures, time zones, and levels.

Availability & Working Model:

This role requires regular working overlap with both US-based clients and offshore delivery teams. You should be comfortable with a working schedule that includes meaningful daily overlap with US business hours, alongside an anchor in offshore working hours for engineering and BA collaboration. We are not looking for round-the-clock availability — we are looking for a thoughtful, sustainable cadence that keeps client work and product work moving.

Requirements:

• 7–10 years of experience across product management, business analysis, implementation consulting, or technical program management — with at least 3 years in a client-facing role

• Demonstrated experience leadingB2B software or data product implementations end to end, including scope, milestones, risk, and stakeholder management

• Strong technical fluency: data models, schemas, APIs, system integrations, and the ability to read JSON, XML,and relational data structures

• Working knowledge of SQL, sufficient to query data, validate behavior, and investigate issues independently

• Proven ability to operate across US and offshore time zones, with a sustainable working rhythm that supports both

• Excellent written and verbal communication — you can run an executive update, write a crisp decision document, and lead a working session with equal confidence

• Comfortable making decisions under ambiguity, escalating when needed, and being accountable for outcomes

Preferred Qualifications:

• US healthcare domain experience— health plans, benefits administration, EDI, HIPAA, or related areas

• Direct experience with benefit configuration systems, plan setup workflows, or member/provider data platforms

• Prior experience in a consulting firm, implementation services org, or customer-facing product role at a SaaS company

• Experience mentoring or leading Business Analysts, junior PMs, or implementation team members

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery and tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, ServiceNow, or Confluence
